This course teaches students the progression of the style of Zen Shiatsu from traditional to its contemporary practice. Students learn to work on a mat “Japanese-style” to develop the strength, coordination and awareness acquired through moving from their core, or “hara,” a foundation required for all Asian martial arts.
Students will learn the twelve primary channels (meridians), Five Element Theory, principles of Yin and Yang, the vital substances, Zeng Fu Syndromes, Six Divisions, and Food-Grade herbal support formulas.
Western Body, Eastern Mind: Integrated Anatomy & Physiology, this course was developed specifically for students of Asian Bodywork Therapy.
All Clinic sessions are supervised by an instructor. Members of the community participate to receive sessions from students in training during regularly scheduled class hours.
After each session students gather with the instructor for “Rounds,” during which time they share their experiences and observations.
We invite Master teachers from around the world who will be great future for networking and mentor-ship.

We offer an introduction to the vast field of herbs and pulse diagnosis.
We accept online and in person accredited CPR credits and transfer credits.

500 Hour Program
Tuition total includes $900 for Western Body Eastern Mind and excludes textbooks and supplies.
If you have been a Vermont resident for over 1-year, you may be eligible for a VSAC grant, students can be awarded up to $6400 towards tuition.
